Dear Parents and Carers
As you will know, the Prime Minister gave the announcement of a national lock down on Monday due to infection rates and concern for NHS capacity. Although we are all saddened about the decision to move schools to remote learning, other than for vulnerable and critical worker children, we understand why these measures are needed.
Remote learning will be in place for all of our Trust schools until February half term at the earliest. Only children who are vulnerable or have parents who are critical workers will continue to attend school.
We all know that nothing can replace face-to-face teaching, our schools receive as many requests for live lessons as they do for paper-based lessons where families have limited access to devices and internet. For this reason our schools offer a blend of remote learning provision.
The pandemic has touched us all and disrupted the lives of many and we offer you our prayers and thoughts. Please check your child’s school website for more details about school closure and remote learning.
Please take care and stay safe.
