In early September we launched the Vine Passport Project, where we invited all the children in the Vine to challenge themselves with a variety of exciting tasks. These challenges range from baking a cake to helping an adult cook dinner, all of which help broaden the children’s horizons and increase their life experiences. With a total of 40 challenges to complete, the children have certainly been doing plenty of travelling with their Vine Schools Passport!
One young lady in Year 2 at St Nicholas, Tillingham, has been working incredibly hard on her Vine Passport, deciding to take the challenge one step further by creating her own scrapbook. Filled with photographs and writings documenting her journey, the scrapbook is a fantastic example of how creative our children can be when they’re presented with a challenging task.
Acting Head of School, Becky Fairhead, comments;
“I am so impressed! She has just completed her badge for ‘Cooking and Baking’ so I was able to award her this badge today”.
We’re excited to see what other fantastic things the children come up with in the next few months on their Vine Passport journeys!
