The children at Latchingdon C of E Primary School have recently been paid a special visit by a collection of exotic animals. As part of their Spring Term theme, ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, the school organised for J&C’s Party Pets to come and give the children a hands-on lesson about different animals from across the world. Classes had the exciting opportunity to handle a wide range of exotic creatures, including lizards, snakes and spiders, which saw some of the children being very brave overcoming their fears!
All of the children behaved incredibly well and were very mature when getting up close and personal with the animals. The visit brought with it lots of excited smiles, as the children loved learning all about where the animals originated from, their natural habitat and what they eat.
What a fabulous way to introduce the new topic!
