Earlier this month, Bulphan C of E Academy hosted their first ever ‘Big Fat Quiz of the Year’.
The children competed against each other in teams made of mixed year groups. There were seven rounds, consisting of History, Geography, French, Music, Art, DT, Science and picture questions.
The questions were based on content pupils had studied throughout the school year, so they all had to work together to answer them all.
Ellie Taylor, Headteacher of Bulphan, said “We thought we had made the quiz super hard, but the children absolutely smashed it, demonstrating just how much they have learnt and retained this year.
“We were so impressed with their enthusiasm and ability to work as a team to secure as many points as possible.
“A massive well done to ‘The Smarties’ who took the winning spot!”
What a fun way to test pupils knowledge from the school year. A big well done to the winning team!
