A huge congratulations to St Osyth C of E Primary School for achieving a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted outcome.
After an inspection took place in May, the school received a strong report that summarised the supportive nature of the school.
The report described the school as having a “warm, caring and safe culture” with a “nurturing environment in which pupils learn well”.
It mentioned how “pupils model the school’s core Christian values of compassion, friendship, hope, trust and thankfulness through their attitudes and behaviours”.
The inspector also made a special mention of how the pupils “love the chickens and Otis, the school dog”.
Headteacher Mark Carter-Tufnell said, “With the publication of this report, I want to thank all the staff that work so tirelessly for the good of all the children that are a part of our school family.
“As well as the high educational standards, I am pleased that inspectors recognised that at our school, ‘there is a warm, caring and safe culture’ where, ‘pupils consider the school a family, where everyone is welcome.”
Well done to all the staff and pupils for demonstrating the character of your school to Ofsted.
