As we enter a new year, we’re delighted to welcome all our teachers, parents, carers and pupils back to school. We hope the Christmas break was restful and allowed everyone to spend quality time with loved ones.
Throughout the next term, we will be working hard on our school improvement model to ensure that all the necessary measures are in place to continue providing an excellent education to all our pupils. The Central Team is pleased to welcome a new Deputy Director of Learning, George Athanasiou, who brings with him a wealth of expertise that will prove invaluable as we look to expand the Trust.
We’d also like to wish a warm welcome to Ana Da Piedade, the new Headteacher at Belchamp C of E Primary School and Deola Emmanual, the new Head of School at St Margaret’s C of E Academy – both of whom have already put exciting plans into place at their respective schools.
This year will see the launch of our new vision and values, which are the result of many months of collaborative and imaginative thinking across the Trust. By celebrating uniqueness and empowering all to flourish, we will continue supporting each school in its journey towards receiving good or better outcomes in future Ofsted and SIAMs inspections.
As ever, the next few weeks will be very busy for pupils, teachers, and senior leaders across the Vine Schools Trust, and we can’t wait to see what fantastic work they’ll be doing in the lead-up to spring.
