I wanted to let our Vine Schools Trust family know that after a successful tenure as Chair of Trustees, Tim Rose will be stepping down from his role this month.
This summer, we came together in a day of celebration, insight and planning in our Vision & Values day. Taking time to look back at the positive transformation of the Trust through some of the most challenging times was quite incredible.
On behalf of us all, I would like to thank Tim for his hard work, passion and contribution towards our many achievements as a Trust and we wish him all the best for the future.
We are blessed to have a dynamic, passionate and high performing board, who individually and collectively have a great breadth and depth of experience. Together, they help us to navigate challenges, create supportive school environments, and deliver excellent education supported by our Christian values.
We have therefore chosen a current board member to take up the post. Mike Ferguson will be our new Chair of Trustees from the 17th September.
Mike originally qualified as a Chartered Electrical Engineer before realising his real passion for People Development, with a focus on management and leadership. He has practised as a Business Psychologist for over 30 years.
He is currently Director of Development at Developing Professionals International and leads programmes for organisations such as the Academy for Chief Executives, whilst also co-presenting the Confident Leader programme for the NHS.
We are confident that Mike will do a wonderful job as our new Chair and we look forward to working with him in his new role.
I am sure you will all join me in sending thanks and best wishes to Tim and giving a warm welcome to Mike.
