It is our pleasure to finally introduce our new Director of Finance, Suthan Santhaguru.
Suthan will be joining us in June and brings with him a wealth of experience in working with Multi-Academy Trusts.
Why do you enjoy working with MATs?
I have worked with several MATs, both large and small. I enjoy forging new working relationships with staff and stakeholders, which MATs always offer. MATs are typically very busy and dynamic places to work, which I also enjoy. Ultimately, contributing to the education and wellbeing of children is the main driver for me.
How do you plan to support our family of schools through your work?
I will work closely with Emma and other colleagues to support them on achieving their vision for the Trust. I want to develop good working relationships with you all and help you and your schools achieve your individual goals. One of my key strengths is listening to feedback, providing the necessary support, and proactively contributing where appropriate.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my son (who is 5 years old) and I also enjoy going for runs and circuit training.
Where is a place that you love to visit in Essex?
I have family who live in Romford and Chigwell whom I visit regularly. However, now that i have joined The Vine Schools Trust I intend to explore Essex a lot more.
