Salary/Pay Range: Local Government Pay Scale 12, points 43-48 depending on experience
Contract Type: Full time (37 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year)

Location: The Vine Schools Trust Diocesan Offices, Chelmsford, Essex, with frequent travel between the Trust schools sites.
The Vine Schools Trust is a multi-academy trust responsible for 23 schools within the Essex area. We are entering an exciting phase in our development as a MAT, and part of our growth plan involves the development of the operational, non-educational aspects of the Trust.
The Board seeks to recruit an outstanding individual with a track record of delivering positive change, building a motivated team and contributing at executive board level.
Education is changing and these exciting and challenging times call for an exceptional professional to join us as our Director of HR.
Do you have the skills and experience to develop and lead an outstanding centralised HR function?
Can you work closely with our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Finance and Operations (DFPO) to lead on the positive development of the Trust that will deliver an outstanding education for all our children?
Our Director of HR will also work closely with Headteachers, Directors and Local Governors to implement and lead on strategic plans whilst growing an HR team who provide an exceptional customer focused HR service.
Can you lead on the provision of a forward thinking, responsive and progressive HR service?
Can you ensure that all schools are compliant with policies and procedures?
This is a unique opportunity to build and develop a dedicated and driven HR team whilst also developing the talents within our family of schools.
You will need to be CIPD qualified or equivalent experience and bring creative and strategically strong HR leadership skills and competence alongside proven senior experience of influencing and building coalitions of support for HR.
